Bledi Bardic Re-Signs for New York Cosmos

The New York Cosmos have officially announced that Bledi Bardic will return to the Cosmos for the 2020 Fall Season in the National Independent Soccer Association (NISA).

Per sources, during the off-season Bledi Bardic was offered a contract from another New York City club, the NISA expansion side New Amsterdam FC. The Cosmos countered with a thousand dollars more than NAFC's offer, which Bardic ultimately accepted.

Small compensation differences aside, Bledi Bardic returned to the Cosmos because he felt that the club has been really close to his heart. Since his arrival at the organization, playing on the NPSL B team, and getting promoted during the NASL days, he experienced reward with the opportunity to continue with the club's journey.

When asked about his goals for the year, 'Rocket Man' said he has only one on his mind - bringing home a trophy in the Fall of 2020 for his teammates and the fans.
